Regains Independence with Rehabilitation Therapy

Living with functional neurological disorder (FND) can significantly affect mobility, balance, and everyday independence.

When Leah began therapy at MOTIONrehab, she relied on two crutches and struggled with basic activities such as standing, walking short distances, or even washing her hair. Everyday tasks had become difficult and exhausting.

Through robot-assisted rehabilitation and physiotherapy, Leah trained with several Tyromotion therapy systems. Her rehabilitation program included the Lexo robotic gait trainer and the Pablo functional rehabilitation device.

Interactive, game-based therapy sessions helped Leah shift focus away from symptoms while encouraging consistent movement, strength, and confidence. Over time, she progressed from assisted walking to taking steps unaided—regaining independence in daily life and rebuilding trust in her body, both physically and mentally.
